We've been based in San Sebastián, La Gomera's capital, since 1998. After having worked successfully in Gran Canaria for several years, we managed to establish our good reputation in La Gomera, starting a diving school under the new name of "Gomeradivers".

Apart from teaching you how to dive and how to gain a better physical perception underwater, the most important thing for us is fun, in order to achieve that even sceptical beginners lose their fear right from the start.
As our interests are not purely commercial, we try to deal with each customer in an individual way. Our prices are between the lower and medium price range so that also residents are able to take diving classes, and start to appreciate the Ocean as a precious part of their lives. We do not put excessive emphasis on the dogmas of the associations of diving instructors, but try to suit the classes to each student individually.

How everything startet… (The history of Gomeradivers)
The first time my father took me diving, I was five or six years old. He gave me a breathing apparatus that normally fireman use for their work, but which he had adapted to a child´s size. But it would take another few years until I learnt how to dive properly at school at the age of 13. After many years of practicing in our local lakes I started training with the diving company "Helgoland" to become a professional diver. After doing the exams successfully at the chamber of commerce in Kiel, I got the opportunity to gain a lot of professional experience working for the company Lutomsky and doing rescue work for an internationally operating company, called ´Nordseetaucher'.
